volunteer with us

Take the next step. Rebuild with us.

Rebuilding Together relies on volunteers of all skill levels to complete critical repairs for our neighbors in need. We will teach you the skills you need and give you the tools to complete projects that allow our neighbors to remain safely at home.

We are in the process of organizing some open volunteer days this year if you are interested in joining us! We are planning to publish these days on our Volunteer Calendar. Click here to access calendar.

Please feel free to sign up for any of the days that work best for you. We update this calendar on a rolling-basis based on staff availability. If you are interested in volunteering with a friend or family member, you can sign up others to reserve their spots as well. If you are unavailable during the days listed, please refer to this calendar for future opportunities to volunteer with us.

For interested individual or small group volunteers, we are rolling out a program for open volunteering opportunities on every "Third Thursday" of each month in 2022. We hope you can join us!

For prospective group volunteering, please fill out our Group Volunteering Inquiry Form. If you are looking to reserve a specific volunteer day/s for your group or organization let us know your preference in the additional comments section. Please let us know two or more weeks prior to when your group would like to be scheduled!

We are hosting volunteers for exterior home repair projects ONLY, and we allow up to 15 volunteers per site. Exterior volunteer work can be a variety of tasks such as painting, pressure washing, access ramp building and repair, siding repair, yard cleanup, and landscaping. No construction experience is required!

We ask all volunteers to review and fill out our Volunteer Wellness Policy Form prior to their first volunteer day.

For questions feel free to reach out to volunteer@rebuildingtogetherncf.org and we'll get back to you as soon as we're available.

Thank you for your willingness to provide your time, skills and service to help us repair homes in our community.
