Lynne Capece–Board PresidentLynne S. Capece is Director of Development for the UF College of Medicine’s Department of Surgery. She recently served as Director of Development and Alumni Affairs at the University of Florida’s College of Design, Construction and Planning, where she was responsible for building a comprehensive and highly successful program. Prior to joining UF, she spent more than 10 years at Valdosta State University in several key advancement roles including annual giving and advancement for athletics. Lynne earned a Physician’s Assistant degree from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, West Virginia and spent 12 years in a variety of health care settings in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area before moving into philanthropy.
Jim BrandenburgAfter graduating from the University of Florida, Jim has spent his adult life as a teacher and administrator in Alachua County Public Schools. He enjoys woodworking and home improvement projects and has helped design and build special event sets for Stop! Children’s Cancer, American Heart Association, Museum of Natural History, and other groups. Jim was introduced to volunteer renovation while working with The Catholic Heart Workcamp program a few summers ago.
Wiley Dixon Retired School District Administrator, School Board of Alachua County
Wiley Dixon is a native Floridian who has lived in Alachua County for the past 30 years. He recently retired from Alachua County Public Schools where he served as a district staff administrator and a principal at three different schools. He has been married to his wife, Kathy, for 39 years. They have two children, Joshua and Sarah.
Ann Goodman
After Graduating from University of West Florida in 1975 Ann moved to Gainesville. She has taught at Sidney Lanier School for the past 30 years. She is married and will always believe that Gainesville was a great place to raise their son. She loves all that Alachua County has to offer -sports, parks, rivers, museums and so much more. Ann believes strongly in giving back and what a better way than to help ensure safe and healthy homes for all the families in Alachua County. Jocelyn HoltJocelyn Holt, an occupational therapist, is the owner of Comfort Keepers, a home health care company serving North Central Florida. She was born and raised in Gainesville and enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three young boys. She has been on the Rebuilding of NCF Board since 2010.
Clinton Jenkins – Board TreasurerClinton Jenkins graduated from Savannah State University with a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2006. He currently works at Sexton and Schnoll, Certified Public Accountants as a staff accountant. Currently with 4 years of public accounting experience, Clinton has aspirations of becoming a CPA, himself. During his downtime, Clinton enjoys working out and watching football.
Erica McCray–Board SecretaryErica McCray is an Assistant Professor of Special Education at the University of Florida. She joined the Board of Directors in 2010 after learning about the exciting work of the organization from a former Board member. She and her daughter both enjoy volunteering with RTNCF to complete home repairs.
Wendell Porter, PhD, P.E.–President ElectWendell Porter is a Lecturer and Adviser with the Agricultural & Biological Engineering Department of the University of Florida. He has been a registered professional engineer in Florida since 1987 and has worked as an engineer for over 30 years. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and received his PhD in Agricultural and Biological Engineering in 2003. In 2007 Wendell helped to organize the Community Weatherization Coalition, an all-volunteer group that performs free energy audits on low-income housing. Wendell currently serves as the group’s first President.
Ryan Murphy Ryan Murphy is a graduate of the M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Building Construction at the University of Florida. As a LEED BD+C Accredited Professional he enjoys incorporating sustainable building practices and principals into every construction project he undertakes. He enjoys the extensive planning that goes into all of RTNCF’s projects and also loves to get his hands dirty while volunteering in the field. Ryan’s particular areas of expertise provide a valuable resource to Rebuilding Together NCF.

Adam Watson Quality Assurance Operations Manager, Wal-Mart Distribution Center–Alachua
Adam is the Quality Assurance Operations Manager with Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Alachua. He was born, raised, and lived in Illinois until 2006 when his family moved to Florida. Adam became involved with RTNCF through the relationship between RTNCF and Wal-Mart and has been a House Captain since 2009. He believes the work that RTNCF does is extremely rewarding for homeowners and volunteers alike.
